Design Thinking

In a design thinking training course, participants learn a problem-solving approach that promotes innovation. The process was rediscovered by David Kelley of IDEO and involves empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototyping and testing. Many companies have famously incorporated this into their business strategy and claim that teams practicing design thinking are much more successful and faster. The method encourages experimentation, user-centered action and rapid iteration. As Tim Brown, CEO of IDEO, said: “Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that relies on the designer’s toolbox to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities of technology and the requirements for business success.”
